Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

This policy explains how Arsillo handles information when you use the app. Arsillo is designed to keep personal app activity on your device and collect as little information as possible.

Our approach

Arsillo does not use advertising SDKs, sell personal information, or track you across apps or websites. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.

Information stored on your device

Arsillo stores information locally to provide its features. Where relevant, it also uses the shared container for the widget extension. This may include:

Optional product analytics

If you explicitly opt in, Arsillo may collect limited first-party product analytics to understand which app features and curated lessons are useful. The app aggregates activity on your device and sends totals no more than once per day.

The report may contain:

Arsillo does not include search terms, custom collection names, free-form text, quiz answers or scores, advertising identifiers, precise device models, precise event times, account details, or payment information in these reports. Reports have no persistent user or device identifier and are not linked to your identity.

You can enable or disable analytics at any time in Arsillo Settings. Turning it off stops future collection and removes unsent analytics from your device. Totals already received cannot be associated with you and therefore cannot be individually located or deleted.

Trials and purchases

Arsillo uses local secure storage to manage complimentary trial eligibility and premium access. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Arsillo does not receive your full payment card details. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy practices.

Remote content and internet use

Arsillo retrieves artwork, images, and content updates from remote infrastructure and may cache them on your device. Network providers necessarily process routine technical information, including an IP address, to deliver requests and protect services.

For optional analytics, Arsillo uses Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, and Analytics Engine as infrastructure providers. Arsillo does not write IP addresses into its analytics dataset. Anonymous aggregate analytics are retained for up to three months. A delivery identifier used to prevent duplicates expires after 14 days.

Notifications

If you grant permission, Arsillo may schedule local notifications such as daily painting or trial reminders. You can change notification access in iOS Settings.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared with service providers only where needed to operate Arsillo, deliver content, process App Store purchases, protect infrastructure, or provide optional analytics as described above.

Local information remains on your device until removed by you, Arsillo, or the operating system. Remote information is retained only for the periods described in this policy or as reasonably required for security and legal obligations.

Children

Arsillo is not designed to collect personal information from children. Optional analytics contain aggregate product interactions and no account, advertising, or persistent device identifier.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Arsillo changes. The date at the top will be revised when the policy is updated.
